Help With Your Hose Genie 900 Series

PROBLEM		SOLUTION
Hose has difficulty fully retracting into wall, or stops intermittently when in use.		With hose fully out, spray Pledge Furniture Polish liberally in cavity where hose is stored. It is essential that only Pledge brand furniture polish be used. Use of any lubricants other than Pledge can cause decomposition of the hose covering and will void the warranty.
The HOSE GENIE is installed and doesn't work.		Double-check the following: Be sure to check the G.F.C.I. circuit breaker is on in the house electrical panel. Be sure the power cords are plugged into the back of the retractor and that the switch in the top of the retractor cabinet is on. All controls for the unit are in the handle; be sure to fully depress each button control (There are slight built-in delays).
Floor brush doesn't work.		Remove hose cavity cover, unclip retractor, pull out (to the left) and push reset button on top of circuit board cover.
Retractor doesn't work.		Remove hose cavity cover, unclip retractor, pull out and check fuse. If spent, replace fuse in fuse holder on top of circuit board cover.
